Our founding family has over 125 years of experience owning and operating manufacturing businesses. Big 7 Partners is our private equity investment arm, named after the family’s Big 7 Ranch near the Central Coast of California.
We are dedicated exclusively to areas including basic manufacturing, transportation/logistics, and services that support and sell into the construction industry.
We are solely in the business of buying smaller entrepreneur and family-owned businesses, and we seek to meet the financial and personal needs of sellers while at the same time putting our companies on the path to future success. We measure our success by the long-term growth and development of our companies and their people.
Outside of private equity, the founding family maintains its original ownership in an NFL franchise—a history we are proud of.
Investment Criteria
Transaction size:
Check size between $5 million and $25 million, with additional capital in reserve to support future growth opportunities.
Ownership type:
Majority, with meaningful equity incentives for management.
Revenue and EBITDA:
Revenue of $5 million to $25 million, and EBITDA of $1 million to $5 million.
